Thirroul, Corrimal & Warilla Beaches

Corrimal Beach

Holiday makers and local’s alike enjoy this beach as it is long and private. A small lagoon proves popular with children for shallow paddling. Corrimal is located six kilometres north of Wollongong’s central business district. Corrimal Beach is only patrolled from the commencement of the NSW school holidays in September until the end of the April school holidays.

The hub of northern Wollongong, Thirroul is found along the Grand Pacific Drive, looking over some of NSW’s most spectacular and dramatic coastline. The northern suburbs are known for their gorgeous views, beautiful beaches, winding scenic roads, buzzing cafes and restaurants and charming shops and pubs.

Warilla Beach

Warilla Beach is a popular surfing and swimming beach. The beach is an east-facing 2 km beach extending between Windang Island and the shallow inlet at Barrack Point. Warilla Beach is patrolled for the seven month season. This beach is open to plenty of swell and offers great surfing waves.

Warilla Beach is a popular surfing and swimming beach. The beach is an east-facing 2 km beach extending between Windang Island and the shallow inlet at Barrack Point. Warilla Beach is patrolled for the seven month season. This beach is open to plenty of swell and offers great surfing waves. The best access to the patrolled area is from Osborne Parade. This patrol has easy access from the car park and is only a short walk from the car.
